COUNTY OF FRANKLIN: One-Stop/Early Voting has begun + new Solid Waste hours

County of Franklin issued the following announcement on Oct. 24. 

With the ending of daylight savings time on November 6, 2022, Franklin County Solid Waste will be adjusting its hours of operation.

Beginning Monday, November 7, 2022, convenience center sites will open at 7 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday, and Saturday. 

Convenience Center #12 at 5 Landfill Road in Franklinton will operate Monday through Saturday on the same daily schedule. 

The Franklin County Transfer Station will remain on the same operating schedule of 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
