County of Granville issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.

Work Completed on Wilton Convenience Site

Work was recently completed on traffic improvements for the Wilton Convenience site.

Contractors installed a wider entrance ramp into the site, a new gate to account for the wider entrance, extended the concrete pad, installed riprap, added drainage improvements, and painted new traffic arrows and pavement markings.

These modifications should help improve the safety and traffic flow at the Wilton site for Granville County residents who utilize this service.

The Wilton Convenience Site is located at 3195 NC Highway 56, Creedmoor. The site is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
