Franklin County Public Utilities announced on April 13 that N. Cross Street in Youngsville will be closed from Main Street to Franklin Street on April 14 for utility work. The closure is expected to last between eight and ten hours, according to the announcement.

The temporary street closure aims to allow Franklin County Public Utilities and a plumbing contractor to complete necessary work safely. Emergency response teams will be notified about the closure, and door hangers will be distributed to businesses and residents along Cross Street prior to the start of the project.

The reading portion results indicate that nearly one-quarter of seniors demonstrated college readiness, while juniors had a slightly lower percentage at just over 22 percent according to figures from state authorities. In mathematics, roughly 13 percent of seniors and nearly 11 percent of juniors achieved scores indicating college readiness as shown by official statistics.
