On Friday, Feb. 28, former Franklinton High School standout Morgan Strickland’s current college team, the Longwood Lancers, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Louisville Cardinals.

The game took place at Ulmer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at Ulmer Stadium against Central Michigan Chippewas.
