On Sunday, March 23, former Louisburg High School standout Laine Barefoot’s current college team, the Lipscomb Bisons, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Austin Peay Lady Govs.
The game took place at Cathi Maynard Park. This was their third matchup against the Lady Govs this season.
The Bisons’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 5 p.m. at Draper Diamond against Tennessee State Tigers.
