He stated, “Committed to being good stewards of our tax dollars, Committed to North Carolina’s citizens. We in the NC House vote today to make tax cuts and higher teacher pay a reality.”
Later that day, Winslow expressed gratitude towards Mike for his leadership regarding an amendment aimed at prohibiting tolling on Capital Boulevard in Wake County. The House budget reinstates the annual back-to-school sales tax holiday in August 2026, enabling people to purchase school supplies, clothing, and other”
