Matthew Winslow, a Republican member of the North Carolina State House representing the 7th district since 2021, recently shared several personal and commemorative posts on his social media account.

On November 8, 2025, Winslow expressed affection for his family dog in a post: “What did any of us ever do to deserve dogs? This is our goodest boy, Finn. He has brought (and continues to bring) our family so much love. #dogs #ncgop #ncpol https://t.co/ihZVnd2mgW”.

A few days later, on November 10, 2025, Winslow acknowledged the service of his father-in-law and other Marines: “250 Years Marine Strong! Thank you to my father-in-law, Roy Valentine, for his service, along with his fellow Marines. #ncgop #ncpol https://t.co/ifJ7QCGrJQ”.

On Veterans Day, November 11, 2025, he posted a message of gratitude for veterans in his family: “Please join me in expressing the deepest gratitude for our veterans. A special thank you to my father-in-law —Roy Valentine, my brothers — Leigh Winslow and Zack Coyle, and my sisters-in-law — Samantha Valentine, Rhea Coyle, and Emily Winslow, and my late brother-in-law—Ryan https://t.co/7tcNedpthz”.

Winslow has served in the North Carolina State House since being elected in 2021. He succeeded Lisa Barnes as representative of the state’s 7th House district.
