Matthew Winslow, a public figure active on social media, recently shared his views on various legislative and healthcare issues through a series of tweets. Winslow’s posts addressed parental rights in accessing children’s medical records, support for small dairy farmers, and the approval of the Ivermectin Access Act.
On May 6, 2025, Winslow expressed frustration over parental access to children’s health records. He stated, “My wife and I have kids, and we’re the ones responsible for their health and paying for that care. It’s ridiculous that parents need to ask permission to access records simply because kids are between the ages of 13 and 17.” Winslow also noted the consistency with which medical bills are shared with parents.
In another tweet on May 6, 2025, Winslow commented on North Carolina House Bill 609. He told the Carolina Journal that “NC HB 609 gives small dairy farmers a fighting chance,” adding that current regulations force them to waste milk while consumers lack freedom of choice regarding natural products. He drew parallels with other unbanned foods like sushi and raw oysters.
The following day, May 7, 2025, Winslow announced his support for the Ivermectin Access Act via Twitter. He stated he was “Proud to have voted in favor of the Ivermectin Access Act today,” acknowledging colleague Jon Almond’s leadership on this bill aimed at providing safe access to medical treatments in North Carolina.
