On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Roxboro Community High School standout Carver Pleasant’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs.

The game took place at Bill Brooks Field. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Springs Brooks Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
