Town of Butner recently issued the following announcement.
Fire Station #3 Open House
Town of Butner had a good turn out for Historic Camp Butner Fire Station #3 Open House yesterday, January 21st, 2020.
The 1942 Fire Station was renovated in 2019 to be used as the Butner Public Safety Training Center.
Since it was the only original fire station from Camp Butner, it was important to the Town to salvage the structure while modernizing the interior. The Butner Public Safety Training Center will serve as an excellent recruitment tool and training center for the Town. The renovation includes a fitness room, warming kitchen, and an evidence and records storage room.
