86 percent of applicants to Louisburg College were admitted for fall 2018

At Louisburg College, 100 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in Louisburg enrolled 594 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 9.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

83 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Carolina, and 17 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (58 percent) and white (17 percent).

The school admitted 86 percent of the 969 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 39 percent enrolled.
