Graduates earn 125 degrees from Louisburg College

About 73.6 percent of the 125 degrees and certificates handed out by Louisburg College in 2017-18 were to students in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Louisburg conferred 92 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 92 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 18 associate's degrees in general biology/biological sciences and 9 associate's degrees in general business/commerce.

The college enrolled 594 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
