Town of Franklinton issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.
Have you heard about the S-Line TOD project?! It’s a initiative to develop railroad transit with seven communities along a 95 mile long trail and Franklinton is seeking to be a potential location!!
Revitalizing Franklinton as a rail town again is a wonderful nod our history and a great way to provide an affordable means of transit for residents that are in need of it.
The S-Line TOD Planning Study Group will be downtown at the corner of the Texaco station to pass out info to residents, get feedback and answer questions about this great project. We’d love for you to stop by to get further informed on a project we hope will be a wonderful addition to our town!
