Franklin County Schools issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
Mr. Latelle Williams has served as a health and physical education teacher at Cedar Creek Middle School since 2013, including eight years as a coach. During that time, Mr. Williams has gained leadership experience as an elective team lead, beginning teacher mentor, school improvement team member, and district health/physical education personal learning community facilitator. "I am excited to join the great teachers, front office staff, and community at Youngsville Elementary as an assistant principal. I look forward to assisting with the academic and social growth of the students throughout their time at YES as JR Jags. Ensuring that parents and students are prepared and excited when the time comes to transition to Cedar Creek Middle School,’ says Mr. Williams.
Mr. Williams completed his Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education (Cum Laude) from Lenoir-Rhyne University. He also received his Masters of School Administration from Western Carolina University.
