COUNTY OF FRANKLIN: Pastor Awarded 2022 Governor's Volunteer Service Award

County of  Franklin issued the following announcement on Apr. 18.

New Life Outreach Ministry Pastor Donathan Muldrow has been awarded the 2022 Governor's Volunteer Service Award. The Franklinton pastor will be honored at a virtual ceremony at 6 p.m. on April 20, 2022.

"The Governor's Volunteer Service Award honors the true spirit of volunteerism by recognizing individuals, groups and businesses that make a significant contribution to their community through volunteer service."                              - Award's page on NC.gov

"Pastor Muldrow is an established business owner, pastor, father and son that gives back to the community," the award nomination said. "All of these reasons and a host of others could be shared about Pastor Muldrow and his civic duties towards people in the community; however, I will conclude by saying that his legacy of preaching/teaching in a servant leadership undoubtedly empowers others to achieve and believe that they to can make a difference..."

Franklin County Cooperative Extension Director Charles Mitchell presented the award to Muldrow at the April 18, 2022 Franklin County Board of Commissioners Meeting. New Life Outreach Ministry is at 128 Savage Street, Franklinton, NC 27525.
