County of Franklin issued the following announcement on Apr. 25.
Franklin County's Emergency Communications department recently took the fight against litter to its own road.
This week, employees of the department began picking up litter along T. Kemp Road yielding 6 bags of trash along with tire pieces, car parts, plywood, and plastic vinyl siding. The department has adopted a stretch of T. Kemp Road to May Road on NC Highway 56.
