Town of Louisburg Police Department issued the following announcement on July 26.
The Louisburg Police Department invites you to join us for our annual National Night Out celebration at Joyner Park on August 2 from 6pm to 8pm.
National Night Out is a nation-wide event held on the first Tuesday of every August and is intended to promote police-community relationships while building neighborhood camaraderie.
Louisburg is still a small town where everybody knows everybody, and your Police Department encourages you to join us as we seek to build a true sense of community that makes our neighborhoods safe!
This year’s event features hotdogs, Kona Ice, a number of games & activities for our kids, bounce houses, gifts, and our annual school supplies give-away.
Come out for an evening of fun, conversations, and an opportunity to learn more about your Police Department.
Every night should be a National Night Out!
