City of Roxboro issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
Calling all volunteers for the City of Roxboro/Person County Fall Clean Sweep Day on Saturday, Sept. 24, 8 a.m.-noon!
Groups and individuals are welcome to participate.
All volunteers will collect at City Hall (105 S. Lamar St.) to receive supplies and information about the day's event.
Designated groups will then disperse to their various locations to collect trash.
