County of Person issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
Saturday, September 10th from 9:00 am to 12 noon.
Held in the parking lot of DSS and the Health Department @ 355 S. Madison Blvd.
Please see flyer for all details of materials collected and accepted.
To ensure safety, please tightens caps and lids, leaving materials in original labeled containers if possible.
Pack containers upright, sort and pack items separately.
Never mix chemicals.
Do not place waste in garbage bags.
Never smoke while handling hazardous materials.
