On Sunday, March 2, former Bunn High School standout Derrick Wade’s current college team, the Chowan Hawks, lost 13-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Barton Bulldogs.
The game took place at Hawkins Field. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. at Dr. C Keith Connor Field against Southern Wesleyan Warriors.
