There was a single gas station in cities across Franklin County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.49 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 15, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Franklin County was $3.69 per gallon.
Of the 43 reported gas stations in cities within Franklin County, eight offer premium gas.
The average reported price of premium gas in North Carolina was $3.68, compared to $3.71 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
