Town of Youngsville issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
Over the past year, the region’s transportation planners have jointly conducted the first phase of public engagement to establish goals and objectives for the 2050 MTP and identified performance measures to track progress over time.
Working with a variety of partners and based on that initial public input, three (3) different transportation system alternative future scenarios were developed and analyzed - comparing the system alternatives against one another and to performance measures.
During the month of August, the second phase of public engagement activities is occurring. We are asking members of the community (residents, business representatives, commuters, and so on) to help identify the most important elements of the modeled improvements that should be emphasized in the updated plan.
