Town of Franklinton issued the following announcement on Aug. 19.
The Town of Franklinton is selling a 40 x 180 section of Parcel 009380. This section is on the northern portion of the parcel. This section has road access on the west side from South Chavis Street. The remainder of the parcel (that is not for sale) includes the Town of Franklinton Public Works building which is designated as 301 South Chavis Street.
Only sealed bids are being accepted for this sale. The sealed bids will be accepted at the Franklinton Town Hall, 101 N Main Street, in Franklinton NC until 2PM on September 10, 2021
