FRANKLIN COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION: Lorenzo Stancil Has Been Asked to Sing the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 North Carolina Special Olympics Summer Games

Franklin County Parks & Recreation issued the following announcement on May 20.

Franklin County's own Lorenzo Stancil has been asked to sing the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 North Carolina Special Olympics Summer Games on June 3 at 7:30pm.  It will be held at NC State Reynolds Coliseum.  This is a first for Franklin County.  Let's wish Lorenzo and our other athletes, Anna Mendoza, Jeremy Hingle, and Brian Perkins, the best as they prepare to compete on June 4 at St. Augustine University.
