Franklin County Schools issued the following announcement on June 7.
On the last day of school, Edward Best Elementary School (EBES) held its 6th annual "Pie in the Face" fundraiser for PBIS. For this fundraiser, staff members volunteer to receive pies in the face, and students raise money to earn more pies for the teachers. The students love being able to get their teachers with a fluffy pastry, and the teachers love being "silly" during this exciting end-of-the-year event. This year, EBES raised over $1300 and set a record amount of pies thrown in one school year.
