The Summer Civic Leadership Program began twenty-two years ago and allows high school students to gain exposure and on the job experience in all aspects of county government operations. Participants began the program on June 16 and their final will be a presentation to the County Board of Commissioners at their August 8 meeting. Participants will share what they have learned over the course of the program and show Commissioners the results of their group cohort project.
